Saw this in the October 2013 issue of Bon Appetit and it was quick and delicious.

I got some Alaskan sockeye salmon, a jalapeño, and a head of broccoli. Season the broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Turn the oven on to 400 degrees, start the broccoli first for 10-12 minutes, then after similarly seasoning the salmon, roast the salmon for about 12 minutes.

The ‘sauce’ is a macerated jalapeño in rice vinegar, along with some capers and a tad of salt.

This was one of the best, simplest meals I’ve ever had. And the broccoli was crisp and perfect. We didn’t get to eat till 9pm but it was worth the wait.
