Made these last night with a standard scone recipe of flour, salt, sugar, heavy cream, and eggs. Bought a nice papaya which I scooped out and mixed in, mixed, patted into a round, and then roughly sliced into 8 pieces.
Tastes ok and ‘sconey’, but needs more sugar. Don’t need any coffee, but its always nice. Made 8 of ’em so we have enough for three more mornings…and since they’re frozen, there is no need to have the same thing three AMs in a row.
